Baby care products retail chain Toonz Retail has opened a store in Warangal, Andhra Pradesh at ABK mall. Spread over 1,800 sq.ft., the outlet stocks toys, books, CD Games, prams, tricycles, walkers, baby basics, apparels, and new born accessories. The company plans to launch more stores in Vijayawada, Nizamabad, Guntur, Vizag and Tirupati. Toonz has partnered with D3 retail promoted by Ch Devendar, Managing Director, Rohini Seeds for expansion in the state.
Speaking on the occasion, Sharad Venkta, Managing Director, Toonz, said: “The idea is to provide several options to our customers under one roof. We have covered all the requirements of a kid or a parent through this one stop. Be it apparels, toys, books, cosmetics, toiletries or party accessories, one will find all the options here. Toonz began its operation in 2010 when it opened it first store in Bangalore. In last three years, the company has opened 40 stores in the country and is planning to take the storecount to 140 in next 24 months. The company has invested Rs 50 lakh to 75 lakh in each store. Currently, it has 15 stores in North India and 25 in South India.
