An integrated approach to strengthen the supply chain, by enhancing value addition at each step, can pave the way for sustainable growth of the industry and the farmers leading to an increased revenue generation. The upcoming InFashion 2013, South Asia's only textile and ingredient innovation show, will organise a session titled, "Value Chain Integration: Value Chain Ko Milkar Mazboot Banayen," on day two of the event at Bombay Exhibition Centre, Mumbai.
India has evolved into one of the few countries that have the complete supply chain, right from diverse fibres to a range of fabrics and made-ups. Strengthening the supply chain will not only help the Indian players to compete in the global market but will also render the Indian textile industry capable of delivering customized packages to customers; both domestic and international.
Stressing on the need for the entire cycle of value chain be it a cotton / fibre / yarn producer, fabric supplier, RMG & other stake holders to come together and work collectively, the session will discuss ways to collaborate and make it strong and profitable for the future.
InFashion 2013 will begin in Mumbai on March 20th.
