Beauty salon chain, Naturals is moving out of south India to become a national brand. The Chennai-based company, which runs 51 outlets, is seeking private equity funding to open 50 more stores in 20 major cities by the end of 2010.Naturals will also enter the luxury segment in beauty service by launching high-end ‘Page-3’ salons.
“Barring Delhi and Mumbai, we will expand to 20 major cities of the country like Pune, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Kolkata and Nagpur in 2010. Our Pune salon will be launched next week and those in Ahmedabad and Surat will follow. The strategy will be to open a few salons in a city, establish as a chain there and move on to the next city,” said K Veena, director of Naturals Beauty Salon India.
