Diamond Plaza mall begins operations in Kolkata

Diamond Plaza, developed by the Super Diamond Group, has begun its operations in Kolkata. The mall is built across 2,27,250 sq.ft. and has a gross leasable area of 1,97,500 sq.ft. According to the company officials, the shopping centre is 80 percent operational, 18 percent is under fit-outs, and 2 percent is vacant. The loading ratio is 40 percent
Diamond Plaza is maintained and operated by Star Centres and both exterior and interior architecture is done by the Design Cell. The Super Diamond Group has done the landscaping of the mall. Security is taken care by Visual Securas. Blue Star has done the lighting, while elevators and lifts are provided by Kone.

The mall has multi-level parking for 380 and 800 four-wheelers and two-wheelers, respectively, and the parking management is done by CPS. Diamond Plaza houses total six escalators an elevators. There are total four entry and exit points in the mall. The shopping centre houses more than 28 stores spread across 6 floors alongwith 2 level basements. 

Diamond Plaza has a five-screen multiplex provided by PVR having a seating capacity for 1,100. The food court of the mall is named as Red Cherry. Max Lifestyle, Prapti, Crossword, Reliance Digital, Big Bazaar, Archies, Food Bazaar, and Time Zone are few of the brands signed by the mall.
