1. Prime responsibility includes measures to ensure a least level of unsold inventory in the region at the end of the season as per norms.
2. Review seasonal line along with regional sales teams and arrive at seasonal buy plan.
3. Ascertain and incorporate their feedbacks related to trends and preferences etc.,
4. Placing store wise buys and keeping regional sales teams updated about any changes, additions and or drops.
5. Ensuring timely inventory receipts of product flows by the stores as per timelines.
6. Rotation of inventory thru intertransfers to facilitate optimum sell thus
7. To consistently monitor sell thrus of articles/groups and categories and initiate actions within the region
8. To monitor and track product movement, category contribution and slow movers and distress inventory with regional sales teams and initiate actions.
9. To initiate schemes, promotions for faster liquidation of inventory within the region.
10. To ensure stock rotation at least four times in a year.
11. To maintain a norm of three times of the inventory against the budgeted monthly sales at any point of time.
12. To ensure clearance of 90% of the inventory against the purchase budgets within the region.
13. Maximizing sales and sell thrus of the region thru effective allocation of stock.
