NRI-promoted fast food chain ChicKing Fried Chicken is planning to open 200 global outlets, including 100 in India, by 2012 with an investment of Rs 200 crore.The effort is to make the brand global for which Chicking was all set to spread its wings to various countries, including Germany, Singapore and Malaysia, NRI businessman and Managing Director of ChicKing A K Mansoor told reporters at nearby Aluva after launching the 16th Indian outlet.
The outlet was inaugurated yesterday by child actors of Oscar winning Slumdog Millionaire — Rubina Ali Quereshi, Ayush Khedekar, Tanvi Lonkar and Azharuddin Mohammed.
Fourteen more outlets would be opened in India taking the total outlets to 30 by 2009-end, he said.
